★Description★

Desander is integrating rotational flow and filtration to realize solid-fluid separation when the slurry containing solids with certain density difference whirlwind flowing in the desander cyclone.

★Working Principle★

The slurry with certain pressure flows into the unit tangentially which generates a strong rotational movement. As the density difference between the solids and water, with the mutual help of centrifugal force, centripetal force, buoyancy and fluid drag, the light fluid move upward and flow out from the discharge port, while the heavy solids moves downward and was extruded out from the bottom nozzle, so to realize the heavy phase and light phase separation. In normal condition, the higher the pressure the higher efficiency of desanding.

★Elements Selection★

The configuration of the desander is depending on the treating capacity, connecting pipeline size, working pressure, raw slurry quality and the processing target. We usually recommend the user to choose system in parallel to obtain a better separation result.

Attention

1. The desander shall be installed on a base to keep the stationarity, and the inlet and outlet shall be with by-pass vales.

2. To ensure the feeding steady and uniform, there shall be a pipe at the same size connecting to the inlet. And the length is about 10-15 times of the inlet ID.

3. There shall be a certain space around the equipment for maintenance.

4. Cleaning the sewage and impurity at a certain period depending on the actual situation
